Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences sees itself as a central point of contact for lifelong learning. In order to fulfill this role even more effectively, the KompetenzCampus – Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning was founded in 2017 and transferred to the Frankfurt Academy for Continuing Education and Human Resources Development (WAkE) in 2025.

WAkE offers a wide range of scientifically based and practical continuing education programs: from compact seminars to certified programs with ECTS credits to part-time master's degree programs. Individual in-house training courses for companies are also part of the portfolio.

The academy accompanies people on their personal educational path – from initial consultation and participation in continuing education programs to the awarding of certificates or master's degrees. The focus is on practical content, individual support, and scientific quality.

WAkE is therefore your partner for the development of professional and personal skills and supports you in continuously expanding your knowledge and actively shaping your career.

We at the KompetenzCampus from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS) offer University further education courses for everyone who is interesed in deepening their knowledge, broadening their skills, and expanding their competencies.

About us

The KompetenzCampus team coordinates the University's continuing education activities, and helps advise on the topics of further education or on the development of individual training courses. Our offers range from short seminars to certificate courses with ECTS to degree programs.

All of our offers are arrangeable and flexible to accomodate anyone who is interested. Participation is also possible for those who have jobs or are balancing their family and personal lives.

In keeping with the tradition of Universities of Applied Sciences, our teaching philosophy is based on a consistent application and practice orientation that is combined with the latest findings from science and research.

We are an active member of the further education network of Hessen Universities - WissWeit and the German Society for Scientific Further Education and Distance Learning (DGWF).
